247Sports reported this week that Bronny James, the son of NBA all-star Lebron James, is showing interest in four specific schools.

Tennessee is one of those schools (Duke, Ohio State, and Texas are the others).

James is a four-star recruit who's rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 38 overall player in the 2023 recruiting class.

It's still early in James' recruitment and the rumors, up to this point, have been kept to a minimum. So it wouldn't be wise for Vol fans to get their hopes up too much that Bronny lands in Knoxville. It's truly anyone's guess as to how this plays out.

But even if Bronny doesn't eventually land at Tennessee, the Vols are already winners in this situation simply because they're in the mix.

Bronny is one of the most famous teenagers in the country. And Lebron is one of the most famous athletes in the world.

The fact that Tennessee is sharing headlines with Bronny and Lebron is huge for the program. This is fantastic exposure for Vols basketball — regardless of what happens in this recruiting battle.

Vol fans should just enjoy the attention that comes along with being mentioned in Bronny's recruitment. If things get serious, then it'll be an added bonus (the actual thought of Bronny playing at Tennessee is wild — the attention from the national media would be INSANE….but let's not get ahead of ourselves).

Tennessee is recruiting well under Rick Barnes. But stuff like this will only help the Vols get even better in recruiting.

UT is already a winner in this, no matter what happens with Bronny and his recruitment from here.
