The Tennessee Vols' football program received some positive news on Monday.
2023 three-star edge rusher Nathan Robinson announced his commitment to the Vols.
Robinson, 6-foot-5/268 lbs from Greenbrier, TN, is ranked in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 15 player in the state of Tennessee and the No. 38 edge rusher in the nation.
The Tennessee native committed to the Vols over offers from Kentucky and Ole Miss, among several others.
Robinson could be a bit on the underrated side. He was incredibly productive at Greenbrier last year, totaling 89 tackles, 26 tackles for loss, and 23 sacks. That's impressive production at any level.
The newest Vols commit will have the best in the business in UT defensive line coach Rodney Garner coaching him. If anyone can get the most out of Robinson (and other defensive linemen), it's Garner.
Tennessee now has six players committed to its 2023 recruiting class, which is ranked No. 12 in the nation and No. 3 in the SEC. Robinson is the Vols' second 2023 defensive commit, joining three-star safety Jack Luttrell.
