On Sunday in Week 15, the Philadelphia Eagles won a hard, cold, battle against the Chicago Bears, and head coach Nick Sirianni gave one player the credit he deserves.

The Bears are now sitting at 3-11 on the year, which is much worse than you would think based on the way they played Sunday. They are a tough defensive-minded team, with one of the more talented quarterbacks in the league, which is why they gave the Eagles so many fits.

It started with Fields, who on several occasions, basically did what he wanted to. I mean, the one play where he scored on a run, but was ultimately called out of bounds, was one of the more impressive plays on the year, had it gone for a score.

I think Fields is the reason, or at least a big reason, why the Bears are still competitive every game despite being 3-11. People are starting to recognize what he does and how well he plays. Even Sirianni had some praise to give.

"I do think Justin Fields is special. He's got some special abilities," head coach Nick Sirianni said after the game. "I know our quarterback is special, as well.

"But give Justin Fields a lot of love right there because you see him — you see it on tape and how good he is and you see it up close and personal, and he's special. It's good for the NFL that two young quarterbacks going at it today that are going to be good quarterbacks in the NFL for a while."

The Eagles had a bit of trouble keeping the mobile quarterback under wraps. yeah, they sacks him six times, but the Eagles still gave up quite a bit to the second-year quarterback.

Fields finished 14/21, for 152 passing yards and two passing touchdowns, with 15 carries for 95 rushing yards to go along with it. Altogether that is nearly 300 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns the Eagles gave up.

The Eagles' next three games are all against teams who have a quarterback that can move a bit. Now, none of those guys are quite as good as Fields when it comes to escaping the picket and turning that into big plays, but they can still hurt you.
