The Philadelphia Eagles didn't play on Sunday, or Monday, because they were busy going 8-0 against the Houston Texans. So, they had plenty of time to watch what was happening in New Orleans on Monday Night Football.

They are in a good place right now, and that will only get better as they are now on a long week, going from Thursday Night Football to Monday Night Football the next week. Surely they will be fresh.

Since they were on a long week, the team probably had time to watch the game between the Baltimore Ravens and the New Orleans Saints. Which means they probably saw something familiar.

If Eagles fans watched the Monday night game, they probably resonated all too well with what was going on, too.

If you didn't see the news, former Eagles' great DeSean Jackson signed with the Ravens in the midst of all their injury problems. Fans remember Jackson for his speed and route running, and explosive plays.

If you watched the beginning of the game, you saw a blast from the past.

DeSean Jackson started the game great. He had one catch for 15 yards on what was a toe-tapper, but unfortunately, it didn't count. His only catch came on a 16 yarder in the middle of the field. It looked as if he hasn't skipped a beat.

Then, the reality set in, allowing Eagles' fans to resonate even more.

He got hurt.

Jackson didn't necessarily miss a ton of games due to injury, but it felt like he was always dealing with something that sometimes hampered his play. In fact, in his first six years with the Eagles, he only missed nine total games, which isn't too bad.

Hopefully, Jackson isn't too hurt and doesn't have anything lingering. The Eagles, and their fans, love to see him have continued success after being on the team. We could see him retire as an Eagle one day.
