The first group of inactives has been made official by the Buffalo Bills ahead of tonight's NFL Kickoff vs the L.A. Rams.

Headlining the group is fifth-round rookie wide receiver, Khalil Shakir. This comes as a surprise as the Boise State product put together a very promising preseason and training camp.

Shakir was expected to field punt returns for the Bills but he won't do so in tonight's game.

DE Shaq Lawson could also be considered a surprise due to the fact that the Bills have five defensive end-types rostered (counting Von Miller, who is listed as a LB for jersey number purposes).

A significant absence from the inactive is RB Zack Moss who will be active alongside four other running backs including FB Reggie Gilliam.

If you want a refresher on who's on the Bills' roster, you can see a position-by-position guide posted by the team below.

As for the L.A. Rams, the biggest name on their list is an expected one as they won't have starting WR Van Jefferson at hand.
