Despite all the weather concerns surrounding the Tampa Bay area, the Buccaneers still have an important game to play on Sunday night against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Tampa is looking to bounce back after a disappointing loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, but playing against a contender like the Chiefs won't make it easy for Tampa to get back to their winning ways.
However, anything can go on any given Sunday, especially when your health situation is turning a corner.
Breshad Perriman looks to be the only Buccaneer with a decent shot at not playing. But aside from him, Tampa Bay's health situation is looking pretty decent.
Chris Godwin has a chance at returning to the field after missing some time due to a hamstring injury. The same can be said for Julio Jones, who has missed the past two weeks due to a knee injury, although Jones' injury record suggests more caution should be warranted in terms of projecting his chances at playing.
Russell Gage played through his own hamstring injury last week and nothing has popped up to suggest he won't play, so concern is low there. One last note is Donovan Smith, who has missed time due to a painful elbow injury.
But it looks like he has a better chance at playing compared to recent weeks.
The Buccaneers will need their full squad available to beat a very talented Chiefs team. And luckily for them, it appears they're on their way to securing that.
