After starting 0-2 for the first time since 2012, the Tennessee Titans’ bandwagon is already thinning out. However, Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers believes that the Titans can still contend.
Rodgers joined ThePat McAfee Show on Tuesday to put a stop to all of the Titans slander.
McAfee pulled no punches, declaring the Titans dead after an embarrassing 41-7 loss to the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football.
“Titans are dead, I don’t know if you know that,” McAfee proclaimed to Rodgers. “I mean, the Titans are absolutely dead. They have no shot for the rest of the year.”
Rodgers quickly interrupted McAfee to staunchly defend the Titans.
“Is Mike Vrabel not coaching them anymore?” asked the four-time NFL MVP. “So shut the f— up. Is Derrick Henry still there? Is Ryan Tannehill still throwing those strike routes? Yeah, they’re gonna be just fine.”
Rodgers has forgotten more football than most people will ever know. It’s a relieving feeling for Titans fans that a player as accomplished as Rodgers still sees a path to success for this team.
Somebody need to remind the former Colts punter to check in on his own team. What’s that saying about throwing stones in glass houses?
