The latest round of Pro Bowl voting results has come out, and two Tennessee Titans remain atop their respective positions.
Derrick Henry is the leading AFC vote-getter at running back, while Ryan Stonehouse is the top AFC vote-getter at punter. Both players led the way back in November, as well.
These two players have been bright spots in what has been an up-and-down season for the Titans.
While Henry has been slumping as of late, he is still having another exceptional season. He is currently second in the NFL with 1,199 rushing yards and third in rushing touchdowns with 11. Henry is also having his best year as a receiver, as getting him involved in the passing game has been a focal point for the Titans.
While Henry was an expected Pro Bowler coming into the year, Stonehouse was not.
Stonehouse, an undrafted rookie out of Colorado State, beat out Titans legend Brent Kern in training camp for the starting punter spot. This move upset many fans, as Kern had been a reliable punter for 13 years. However, Titans fans quickly came to terms with the decision and Stonehouse has been spectacular to start his career.
He currently leads the NFL with 53.1 yards per punt and is tied for third in net punting at 44.7 yards per punt. Also, Stonehouse was named the AFC's Special Teams Player of the Month in October.
While a few other Titans deserve a Pro Bowl spot this year, at least fans know these two are well on their way.
