2021 four-star running back Cody Brown tweeted on Wednesday evening that he's visiting the Tennessee Vols this weekend.
Brown, 6-foot/210 lbs from Lilburn, GA, is rated by 247Sports as the No. 10 player in the state of Georgia and the No. 9 running back in the nation.
Brown is coming off recent visits to Auburn and Georgia. The dynamic running back told Rivals after those visits that both schools were among his top five (though he didn't name the other three programs). Brown said that while he's "pretty wide open" right now, he plans to commit before his senior season.
The Georgia native noted after his visit to Athens that he had upcoming visits to Auburn and Florida planned. It appears, however, that Brown is visiting Tennessee instead of the Gators — which is obviously a big win for the Vols.
It's clear that UT is focused on adding some game changers at the running back position. They have some nice depth there right now, but you can never have enough running backs in the SEC.
