Mock draft from former NFL GM has Chiefs making a perfect selection in the first round

The Kansas City Chiefs have done a nice job of stabilizing their wide receiver group this offseason after trading six-time Pro-Bowler Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins earlier this month.
Kansas City has added Marquez Valdes-Scantling and JuJu Smith-Schuster to the roster this month. Those are great additions, but neither player is a true No. 1 wide receiver.
The Chiefs still need to find quarterback Patrick Mahomes a No. 1 wide receiver to replace Hill. That could come via trade or the 2022 NFL Draft.
Former NFL general manager Mike Tannebaum, who now works for ESPN, thinks Kansas City will find Mahomes a wide receiver in the first round of the draft next month.
Tannebaum has the Chiefs taking Alabama wide receiver Jameson Williams with the No. 29 overall pick (he also has Kansas City taking defensive end Arnold Ebiketie with the No. 30 overall pick, which would address another key need for the Chiefs).

From ESPN:
The Chiefs traded Tyreek Hill. Now they have the chance to use one of the picks that came to Kansas City in return to draft his replacement. Williams tore his ACL and won't be ready for Week 1, but his explosion and speed make him the ideal Chiefs draft pick. I was really impressed with Williams' play in the SEC Championship, when he had seven catches for 184 yards and two touchdowns.
This would be an absolute slam dunk pick for the Chiefs.
Williams was likely going to be a top 10 pick before he tore his ACL in the College Football Playoff championship game in January. He has elite speed, great length, and above-average route-running ability. Williams is everything a team could want in a No. 1 wide receiver.
The former Alabama standout likely won't return to the field until the second half of the 2022 season. But that's not a problem for Kansas City. The Chiefs are a Super Bowl contender without making another addition to their roster this offseason. Sure, Williams would fill a need, but Kansas City's roster is so strong that he would almost be a luxury.
Landing Williams at No. 29 would be like hitting the lottery for the Chiefs. Kansas City fans should cross their fingers that this ends up being the Chiefs' first pick.
