Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle had some fun on Wednesday at Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield's expense.
Mayfield gave an interview to the YNK Podcast where he discussed his situation with the Browns (Cleveland traded for quarterback Deshaun Watson earlier this offseason).
"I feel disrespected — 100 percent," said Mayfield. "Because I was told one thing and they completely did another. That’s what I’m in the middle of right now."
Kittle made an astute observation while watching the video of Mayfield's interview.
The dog sitting beside Mayfield, which appears to be a Golden Retriever, was completely on his back during the entirety of the clip, which prompted Kittle to ask "is the dog ok?".
Kittle is asking what we're all thinking after watching that video.
I don't know if Mahomes was also wondering about the status of the dog, but he had a nice laugh about Kittle's tweet.
I'm sure Mayfield wants the focus to be on his words about the Browns organization, not the dog chilling beside him. But I think even Mayfield would admit that the dog's mannerisms (and chill factor) are hilarious in this clip.
