We have free agency drama and it involves the Dallas Cowboys!

But not in a good way…if you're a Cowboys fan.

On Tuesday, the Cowboys' official Twitter account tweeted that they were in agreement with defensive end Randy Gregory on a new five-year deal.

A short time later, it was reported that Gregory was actually signing with the Denver Broncos.

Denver fired off a tweet in response to the Cowboys' tweet that was admittedly hilarious.

Gregory was reportedly scared away by some contract language that Dallas wanted to use.

As a reminder, teams and free agents can agree to terms on a deal, but they can't officially sign a deal until Wednesday (unless a team is re-signing their own free agent). That means all of these deals over the last two days are pending and subject to change.
