The Kansas City Chiefs could be heading overseas for a game in 2022.

A Twitter account associated with a Munich-based soccer club, FC Bayern, tweeted on Tuesday that the Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are expected to play in Munich, Germany next season.

Nothing is official yet.

In fact, the Bucs told Greg Auman, who covers Tampa Bay for The Athletic, that no decision on the game had been made yet by the NFL.

That sounds like it's definitely a possibility (it sounds like the NFL just doesn't want to get scooped by a German soccer account).

The only problem with the report out of Munich is that Tampa Bay is the home team for their matchup against the Chiefs this season. So if the two teams play in Germany next season, it would mean one less home game in Tampa for the Bucs.

We'll see how this plays out, but if the Chiefs are interested in playing in Munich, there's a good chance it happens one way or the other. The NFL announced earlier this month that a game in Munich next season WILL happen.
