Comedian Keegan-Michael Key took a shot at Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes while hosting the NFL Honors show on Thursday night and tight end Travis Kelce was not amused.
Key was delivering a joke about Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow's fashion style when he threw some shade at Mahomes' second-half play in the Chiefs' AFC Championship game loss.
The camera panned to Kelce after the joke and the elite tight end didn't even crack a smile.

I'm guessing Key probably avoided Kelce after the event.
Kelce is obviously not going to stand for any Mahomes slander (nor should he).
There's no doubt that Mahomes didn't play his best football in the second half against the Bengals. But that's how football goes. Mahomes is still the heartbeat of the Chiefs. Kansas City would've never made it that far in the playoffs without him.
And let's not forget that while Joe Burrow might be all the rage right now, he's still accomplished far less in his young career than Patrick Mahomes.
No disrespect to Burrow, but Mahomes is without a doubt the best quarterback in the NFL right now.
