The Carolina Panthers ranked No. 17 among 32 teams in the second annual NFL Players Association team report cards, with ownership being extremely concerning among NFL players.

The NFLPA released its annual team report cards for all 32 teams Wednesday in Indianapolis at the NFL Scouting Combine. The report cards were produced after surveying 1,706 players – nearly 76 percent of all players and up from 60 percent last year.

For the Panthers, the lowest-graded aspect of the team was ownership, which received a D from the players. That was a mark bad enough for 28th in the league.

The strength coaches were the highest-rated among the players, earning an A from nearly all survey respondents.

Second-highest was the training staff, head coaches and nutrition/dietician.

The full grades for the eight categories are the following:

  • Treatment of families: B
  • Food/cafeteria: B
  • Nutritionist/dietician: B+
  • Locker room: C+
  • Training room: C+
  • Training staff: A-
  • Weight room: B
  • Strength coaches: A
  • Team travel: B-
  • Head coach: A-
  • Ownership: D

Though the Panthers aren't as bad as initially believed, David Tepper is really one of the league's worst owners.
