It's been quite the week for Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman.

Heading into Super Bowl LVIII, not very many people expected Hardman to make much of an impact. He caught just 15 passes during the regular season and had zero total yards on four touches during Kansas City's first three playoff games.

However, in true Chiefs fashion, they didn't give up on him. Hardman caught three passes for 57 yards during the big game, including the game-winning touchdown. Now he gets to reap those benefits. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on Twitter that Hardman will participate in Friday night's NBA Celebrity All-Star Game.

Hardman played high school basketball at Elbert County High School, and has plenty of impressive highlights from his time there. It's easy to imagine him being skilled at basketball given his speed and athleticism.

Other NFL players joining Hardman during the celebrity game are Houston Texans quarterback CJ Stroud, Los Angeles Rams receiver Puka Nacua and Dallas Cowboys pass rusher Micah Parsons. The coaches for the game are Stephen A. Smith and Shannon Sharpe, and here are the complete rosters for both teams. Hardman will play for Smith's team.
