Kansas City Chiefs RB Isiah Pacheco is expected to make his second-career Super Bowl start when the team takes the gridiron against the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII on Sunday, Feb. 11.

When he takes that first snap of the game, Pacheco will become the first running back since Pro Football Hall of Famer Tony Dorsett to start in back-to-back Super Bowls in each of his first two NFL seasons. Dorsett appeared as a starter in back-to-back Super Bowls in his first two NFL seasons in 1977 and 1978 with the Dallas Cowboys. Pacheco earned his first career Super Bowl start a season ago in Super Bowl LVII against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Where Pacheco is approaching uncharted territories is if his team can manage to defeat the 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII. Dorsett's Cowboys won Super Bowl XII over the Denver Broncos, but they lost the following year to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl XIII

Should the Chiefs defeat the 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII, Pacheco can become the first starting running back in the history of the game to ever win back-to-back Super Bowls to start his NFL career.

In Super Bowl LVII against the Eagles, Pacheco rushed for 76 yards and added a rushing touchdown on the way to the Chiefs' 38-35 victory.
