Over 100 million people are expected to tune in to watch Super Bowl 58 on Sunday, but Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson will not be among such viewers.

The Ravens came up a game short of clinching a spot in Super Bowl 58. They seemed destined to pull off a run to the Super Bowl for the first time since the 2012 season, but the Kansas City Chiefs wound up playing the role of spoiler thanks to a 17-10 win in last month’s AFC title game.

Jackson was asked by the NFL Network’s Taylor Bisciotti after the 13th annual "NFL Honors" awards show whether he will catch the Super Bowl on Sunday. He shared exactly why he will not watch the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers battle it out in the biggest game of the season.

"Too raw, I’m good," Jackson said. "I don’t wanna watch the game."

It is easy to understand just where Jackson is coming from, especially as he sure is still not over Baltimore’s disappointing finish to the 2023 season.

As with the Chiefs, the Ravens are expected to enter next season among the serious contenders to win the AFC.
