The Tennessee Vols will receive a visit from one of the top players in the 2025 recruiting class in April.
According to On3, 2025 five-star wide receiver Caleb Cunningham is set to visit Tennessee on April 1. He also has visits lined up this spring to Ole Miss, Alabama, LSU, Florida State, Auburn, Miami, Florida, and Texas A&M.
Part of the reason Cunningham is interested in the Vols is the "absolutely crazy" atmosphere at Tennessee. He also noted that he'd love to play with 2025 five-star Vols quarterback commit George MacIntyre.
“The Tennessee atmosphere is absolutely crazy," said Cunningham to On3 of his interest in the Vols. "They have a good coaching staff and they call me about every day. I would love to play with their quarterback commit George MacIntyre. I love their offensive scheme as well.”
Cunningham, who is also a talented basketball player, visited Tennessee last fall for the Vols' game against Georgia. He also visited Knoxville last spring.
Scouting report via 247Sports: Translates body control and bounce to ball-winning mismatch effectiveness at wideout. Unstoppable in red-zone situations. Strong-handed in traffic. Runs hard in run-after-catch situations and bowls his way through arm tackles. Long-striding gait that creates necessity for build-up speed. Natural route sense and spatial awareness.
Cunningham, 6-foot-3/180 lbs from Ackerman, MS, is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 2 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 1 player in the state of Mississippi. He's also rated as the No. 11 overall player in the 2025 recruiting class.
The coveted recruit isn't planning to commit until closer to the early signing period in December, which means this recruiting battle should continue all summer and into the fall.
