The Tennessee Vols are one of several programs pursuing 2025 four-star cornerback Greg Thomas.

Tennessee is among Thomas' top 10 schools, along with Colorado, Florida State, LSU, Miami, Oklahoma, Penn State, Texas A&M, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.

Thomas, 6-foot-2/190 lbs from Fort Lauderdale, FL, is rated by 247Sports as the No. 13 cornerback in the nation and the No. 16 player in the state of Florida.

The talented defensive back told On3 this week that Tennessee is the program that's recruiting him the "hardest".

“Tennessee has recruited me the hardest since they offered me," said Thomas. "Coach (Josh) Heupel has been texting me and telling me they want me and that is a big factor for me.”

Thomas made similar comments to 247Sports while pointing out that Tennessee has a "bright" future with Nico Iamaleava under center.

“Probably since the week after they offered me, Coach Heupel was texting me and just personally reaching out to me," explained Thomas. "Tennessee, they are a great team in the SEC. With Nico Iamaleava, the future looks very bright for them. I love what I see from them.”

Thomas doesn't currently have a planned commitment date, but it sounds like the Vols are right in the thick of this recruiting battle.
