The Tennessee Vols are one of the programs that's making the biggest push for the No. 27 overall player in the 2025 recruiting class.
2025 four-star edge rusher Nasir Wyatt (who should be a five-star recruit soon) told On3 this week that Tennessee is recruiting him hard right now.
Wyatt is set to visit Tennessee on April 6.
“Tennessee has really been recruiting me hard," said Wyatt. "They are right there with Oregon when talking about schools recruiting me the hardest. I like Coach Josh Heupel, Coach Tim Banks and Coach Robert Ayers too. They are pushing, so I have to get up there."
Oregon, USC, Ohio State, and Miami are also strongly in the mix for Wyatt, though the Ducks appear to be the Vols' top competition.
Wyatt, 6-foot-3/215 lbs from Santa Ana, CA, is rated 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 2 edge rusher in the nation and the No. 2 player in the state of California.
The elite edge rusher attends the same high school (Mater Dei) that Vols wide receiver Bru McCoy attended.
