Nick Sirianni will remain the Philadelphia Eagles head coach for the 2024 season.

Alongside general manager Howie Roseman, Sirianni confirmed his head coach status during the Eagles' end-of-the-year press conference on Wednesday afternoon.

When asked about how his job changes moving forward, Sirianni made it clear that his job is to only be the head coach of the Eagles and oversee all three phases, which means the new offensive coordinator will call the plays.

"The head coach of the football team, Sirianni said. "It could be very similar to what's going on right now. If that means I will sit more in defensive meetings at times maybe instead of always being in an offensive meeting. Maybe I go into a defensive meeting here and there. But, my job is to be the head coach of the football team and not the head coach of the offense or the head coach of the defense. Not the head coach of special teams, but be the head coach of the football team."

Sirianni said that he will focus on making sure that the culture is top-notch and that player-coach and player-player relationships are healthy.

"So that's building the culture," he said. "That's making sure the culture is working our five core values, taking every day at a time. We're not coming up with new core values. …That's diving into that. Building the culture, having a relationship with the guys on the football team. Because when I know I have that connection with guys on the football team that's when the culture is working at a high level and their connection with each other works well too."

When the Eagles dropped their final six of seven contests after going 10-1, there were rumors that Sirianni had completely lost the locker room and players had problems with coaches and each other.

Sirianni's response to his role for 2024 all but confirmed that those rumors were true, so he will put all of his efforts into keeping that from happening next fall.
