Despite having lost to him in the Super Bowl, Julian Edelman didn't hesitate to send a heartfelt message to Jason Kelce after the center announced his retirement from the NFL.

Jason Kelce was very emotional following the Philadelphia Eagles' loss to the Buccaneers on Monday night, ending their season. And based on his reaction, it seemed that it was the end of Jason Kelce's incredible career.

ESPN's Adam Schefter confirmed that on Tuesday morning, reporting that Jaosn Kelce told his teammates in the locker room after the game that he is officially hanging up his cleats.

Edelman posted on social media, honoring the future Hall of Fame center.

"@jason.kelce hellava career bubs. Excited to see the next chapter🙏🏼🐿️," Edelman wrote on Instagram.

Jason Kelce retires as a Super Bowl champion, actually having earned the win over the Patriots and Edelman in 2017. But it seems there are no hard feelings anymore the two.

He was also a six time First-team All-Pro along with a seven time Pro Bowler.

Edelman joined the Kelce brothers on their New Heights podcast in July, with the three providing tons of hilarious stories for the listeners.

And the Patriots legend even said he would have the Jason and Travis Kelce on his podcast, Games With Names, at some point as well.

Both Jason Kelce and Edelman are two of the best to ever play in the NFL, so hopefully there is an episode that will be able to celebrate their incredible careers very soon. Especially with Jason Kelce's increased free time.
