Kansas City Chiefs are days away from playing the Buffalo Bills in the divisional round of the NFL playoffs but are still heavily on the mind of the team that they just defeated.
Miami Dolphins S DeShon Elliott took to Instagram to share what he’s currently thinking about the Chiefs and what he’s hoping the outcome of their next game is.
It is safe to say the Bills will have some extra fans on Sunday when the Chiefs come to town. Interestingly enough, Elliott is the player who cracked the helmet of Patrick Mahomes in the wild card.
Things turned out fine for Mahomes and the offense. He tossed a touchdown, had 262 yards passing, and even added 41 yards on the ground. The Chiefs prevailed by a score of 26-9 to move on in the playoffs.
Elliott had nine total tackles against the Chiefs and one cracked helmet if that is a stat you are looking for. Losing is tough and it appears it’s going to take some time for the Dolphins’ safety to get over the season-ending loss.
Chiefs will play in Buffalo against the Bills at 6:30 p.m. ET on CBS. If Bills Mafia wasn’t already enough, they’ll have some honorary fans for this playoff game. As always, it is going to be a good game when you have Mahomes and Josh Allen facing off.
