Cleveland Browns are beginning their search for their next offensive coordinator hire.

After Alex Van Pelt was let go, the first interview for the open position is set to be Andy Dickerson. Dickerson is currently the offensive line coach for the Seattle Seahawks but could be on his way out with a new head coach to take over there.

Dickerson has been with the Browns before, back in 2009-2010 he served in two different roles with the team. After that, Dickerson went on to spend time with the Jets and then nine seasons with the Rams organization.

There is a chance that Kevin Stefanski would give up play-calling duties to the right fit, it would just depend on the hire. Stefanski has called offensive plays for the Browns since he became the head coach in 2020.

Cleveland will likely take a look at multiple options when it comes to filling the offensive coordinator role. Last offseason it was the defensive coordinator job that needed to be filled. They can only hope the offensive hire pans out as well as bringing Jim Schwartz on board.

The Browns are looking to bring in some fresh ideas and concepts for Deshaun Watson, who will be healthy in 2024 and back as the starting quarterback.
