Antonio Pierce was hired as the interim head coach on Halloween day, one day after the loss to the Detroit Lions on Monday night football. He went 5-4 with the Raiders but was able to restore the vibes in Las Vegas surrounding their football team.

On Friday, it was announced that he and the Raiders were coming to terms on a deal to be the head coach for 2024 and beyond. Pierce has already made history for the Raiders in his first season and now can do even more with full control for a full season.

The Raiders are still deciding on who their general manager will be for 2024. The Raiders are still between Ed Dodds, the former Indianapolis assistant GM, or Champ Kelly, who was the interim GM last year.

But one report would suggest that the Raiders may be close in that hiring process as well.

According to Josina Anderson of CBS Sports, interim GM Champ Kelly is in a meeting with the Raiders brass as the Pierce news broke. So, maybe the decision to hire their new GM happens any moment now.
