San Francisco released an estimated practice report for Wednesday as the team begins to look ahead to Super Bowl 58.
Kittle, who was listed as day to day with a toe injury following the 49ers' NFC Championship Game win over the Detroit Lions, was listed as did not participate, suggesting the Niners will play it safe with him this week.
Cornerback Ambry Thomas, who was forced to leave the Lions game with an ankle injury, was listed as limited in a positive sign for his return when the 49ers practice on Thursday.
Also tagged with a limited designation is linebacker Oren Burks, who played through a shoulder injury against the Lions.
Arik Armstead (foot, knee) and Kalia Davis (ankle) both had 'full practice' designations.
Armstead showed no ill-effects of playing a second successive playoff game after missing the final five regular-season games.
The 49ers have still yet decide whether to activate Davis back to the 53-man roster for the Super Bowl and give themselves more interior defensive line depth. His 21-day practice window was opened last week.
