The Buffalo Bills fell to the Denver Broncos on a last-second field goal as time expired. Buffalo quite literally had the win in their hands as Wil Lutz missed the game-winning field goal but Buffalo was penalized for too many men on the field, giving him another chance which he didn't miss.
After the game, the Buffalo Bills superstar QB, Josh Allen, was short with the media during the press conference, he seemed more than pissed at his own performance and the continued issues that keep popping up on his side of the ball.
Head coach Sean McDermott shared the same sentiment, going as far as giving an ominous warning to the coaching staff after the loss. They aren't playing complimentary football right now and the coaching staff is sitting on some of the hottest seats in sports.
To add insult to injury, Stefon Diggs' brother Trevon took a shot at the franchise QB after the game, adding to our already miserable morning.
Trevon Diggs wasn't going to be silent after the contest. Before this tweet, he pointed out that his brother Stefon needs to get outta there. In his more recent tweet, in his attack on Josh Allen, Diggs offered, "Let's not forget, he didn't start going off till bro got there."
Diggs has been a superstar in Buffalo and a true game-breaker (when utilized). Last night was yet another performance in which Diggs wasn't utilized nearly enough as the talented wide receiver finished his day with three catches for 34 yards, not what you are expecting out of the dynamic duo of Allen and Diggs.
Once again, we are thrown into the spiral of a potentially unhappy Stefon Diggs with a team that just can't get on the right track as their Super Bowl window is rapidly crashing in front of our eyes.
To be honest, we couldn't really blame Diggs if he did in fact want to leave. It's a bit much to say that Allen only started shining once he had Diggs, but we can absolutely understand the frustration.
Just another bitter pill to swallow after a disgusting loss.
