The Las Vegas Raiders are trying to get back at .500 on the year, as they embarrassingly lost to the Chicago Bears last week. This game against the Detroit Lions won't be one that they can approach the same as they did last week.
The Lions are no slouch and are no longer a team you can just expect to beat. They are legit, and they are one of the best teams in the league despite their tough loss last week. The Lions lost last week to the Ravens in a game that was also embarrassing and humble, to say the least.
This game has a ton of meaning already in Week 8. For the Raiders, if they lose this one, it will start getting very, very hard to get out of the hole they are in and make the playoffs. It's not impossible, but it's very hard. This game is on ESPN for Monday Night Football, as they are once again playing on national TV. But can you watch it?

3 Raiders Players to Watch
- Jimmy Garoppolo, QB – This one is an obvious one, as Garoppolo is the guy, as we all know, but he has also been out for a good amount of time. So, watch to see how he is feeling.
- Nate Hobbs, CB – Hobbs may be playing his first game in a while, as he has missed the last four weeks. The Raiders will need him, as the Lions have a great group of receivers. If he doesn't play, as he is questionable, watch for one of the young guys to step up.
- Michael Mayer, TE –Mayer was really starting to hit his stride, but last week Hoyer missed him wide open up the seam a few different times. Let's see if he can get back on track.
