The Philadelphia Eagles are more than ready to make their next trade move.
According to ESPN's Field Yates, the Eagles restructured safety Kevin Byard’s contract on Monday night.
The restructure gives them $711,000 in cap space for 2023, which will help them if they make another trade.
The Eagles now have a total of $2,811,731 cap space to work with, per Over The Cap.
Philly acquired Byard from the Tennessee Titans last week and sent them a 2024 fifth and sixth-round pick.
In just one game so far, the All-Pro safety has made an immediate impact on the Birds' secondary, logging seven tackles in their Week 8 win over the Washington Commanders.
For their second move, the Eagles traded away defensive lineman Kentavius Street and a 2025 seventh-round pick to the Atlanta Falcons. They received a 2024 sixth-round pick in return.
The Eagles now have the additional cap space along with a sixth-round pick and more in their back pocket to work the phones with, which is something general manager Howie Roseman is good at.
Be on the lookout for another Eagles trade ahead of the 4 p.m. deadline on Tuesday, Oct. 31.
