Vikings bold predictions for the second half of the 2023 season

The Minnesota Vikings have done a complete 180 over the last month. The team started out 1-4, but has now won four games in a row to get to 5-4.
With the season at the halfway point, the Vikings would currently be in the playoffs as the No. 7 seed. In the NFC North, the Vikes are just one behind the Lions in the win column. Even with all of the terrible injury luck, these Vikings just won't go away.
Today, I want to take a look at three bold predictions for the rest of the season.
Joshua Dobbs will remain the starter for now

Can you really put Dobbs back on the bench after that? Dobbs came in after Jaren Hall was concussed in the first quarter. It was rough at first, but Dobbs settled in and eventually led a game-winning drive. Dobbs ended the day 20/30 for 158 yards and 2 TDs. The QB also led all rushers with 7 carries for 66 yards.
It's unfair because Hall looked really good before being hurt. But Dobbs is a respected veteran with an insane football IQ and he likely gives the Vikes the best chance to win this season. I think KOC will roll with the veteran for now.
Jalen Nailor will become a reliable weapon

Nailor has battled injury all year, but the receiver was finally activated this weekend. Justin Jefferson is eligible to return next week, but no decision has been made as of yet if he actually will.
Even if Jefferson does return, the team will likely be without KJ Osborn. Osborn was knocked out of the game on Sunday and had to be carted off with a concussion. This means one of N'Keal Harry, Trishton Jackson, or Nailor will have to become a reliable target. My money is on Nailor due to his speed and versatility. Don't be surprised if Nailor is used in the run game and as a deep threat upon his return.
The Vikings will make the playoffs

I do not think the Vikings can win the NFC North. With the amount of injuries and the way the Lions are playing, it just isn’t in the cards this season.
However, they could and likely will earn a wildcard spot. The team is currently sitting as the No. 7 seed and the NFC is not exactly loaded this year. It's not hard to imagine a 9-win season being enough to make the playoffs. With many, including myself, thinking the Vikes would end up tanking, this is an impressive turn of events for the team.
Vikings appear to have lost another player to an Achilles injury
Another Vikes player appears to have suffered a serious injury.
