The Buffalo Bills have looked like a shell of themselves. Once again, they were on the losing end of a heartbreaking game. What makes matters worse is they had the victory in their hands but lost due to a 12-men on-the-field penalty.
With the team deciding to part ways with second-year offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey, all eyes are going to be on the offensive adjustments the team makes in the upcoming contest against a stout Jets defense.
As it currently sits, Buffalo is on the outside looking in when it comes to the NFL playoffs, something we didn't have on our bingo cards heading into the season. McDermott and Josh Allen have their work cut out for them as they try to right the ship as the NFL season is rapidly coming to a close.
Here's everything you need to know about the upcoming contest.

3 players to watch
- QB Josh Allen – Allen hasn't looked like himself lately and as we mentioned, the offense has been anemic. With a new offensive coordinator in Joe Brady, all eyes are going to be on the franchise QB to see what he can do to try and help this team get out of their current slump.
- RB James Cook – Cook fumbled on the very first offensive play against the Denver Broncos and then saw himself sitting on the bench for a while. Cook bounced back with a dominant performance, even though he had another fumble which he luckily was able to bring back in. Can Buffalo continue their dominance on the ground and give Cook some much-needed confidence back in his game?
- CB Rasul Douglas – While Zach Wilson has looked more bust than boom lately, the team still has a very good true number-one receiver in Garrett Wilson. Look for Douglas to put his mark on the contest in an attempt to shut down Wilson, making the quarterback's life miserable in the process.
Buffalo needs to bounce back in a big way, and they have a short week to do so. Another loss and it'll feel like the sky is falling in Buffalo. Additionally, McDermott could be sitting on the hottest of seats in sports, if he isn't already.
