The Cleveland Browns are bringing back an old friend to the active roster.

Offensive lineman Michael Dunn is being signed from the practice squad to provide the Browns with quality depth at guard and tackle. This move comes in addition to the Browns signing Ty Nsakhe, who will likely begin with the practice squad.

Cleveland originally cut Dunn when teams had to cut down to 53 players but was able to bring him back, as he did not have to go on waivers. Dunn was always going to make his way back to the active roster, he’s a quality offensive lineman that provides versatility in where he can lineup.

Last season, Dunn played in eight games and made two starts with Cleveland. Back in 2021 he made two starts but played in a total of 14 games.

At 6-foot-5 and 315 pounds, Dunn can be a guard first, then a capable tackle as well. That’s what the Browns have liked so much about him since he came about in 2020.

With Jack Conklin out for the season and Dawand Jones scheduled to start, Cleveland has shuffled around some depth that they believe will work out.

So, a familiar face back for the Browns that is proven to be capable of whatever they may need. That is a win.
