It hasn't been pretty, but the Philadelphia Eagles are undefeated after four weeks of regular season play.

However, if you ask A.J. Brown, who had a monster game against the Washington Commanders in Week 4, the best is yet to come.

"The record says nothing," Brown said Sunday after the game. “These experiences are everything because we’re learning from them. We’re in these tough situations, we’re learning and we’re figuring out ways to get a win most importantly.

“The record right now, of course, we want to put our best foot forward and be heading in the right direction, but that 4-0 stuff that means nothing. Nobody’s walking around, ‘Woohoo, we’re 4-0.’ That’s not it.”

Brown reeled in nine catches for 175 yards and two touchdowns in the Eagles' 34-31 win over the Commanders.

That's some great football from Brown, who struggled, along with the rest of the team, to get things rolling through the first two weeks of the season.

Regardless of how imperfect Brown and company have played, the Eagles have managed to come up with wins–very close wins but still wins.

“We’re still putting it together,” Brown added. “Nobody wants to be playing their best football right now. But we’re striving each and every day to fix the little things and head in the right direction. We want to play good. Don’t get me wrong. We want to play really well but we don’t want to play our best football right now in October. These are moments that we’re learning from, these are experiences that we’re learning from. This was a game in overtime that if it happens again, nobody will blink because we’re put in these tough situations. It’s a learning experience.”

It's a long season and the Eagles have yet to face a very difficult team and they won't until they face the Miami Dolphins at the end of the month.

After that, their November and December slates are packed with powerhouse teams, which is where it all starts to really matter.

Until then, they'll continue to work on perfecting their imperfections i.
