Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young didn't practice Thursday.
Young is dealing with an ankle injury picked up Monday night that kept him off the field for Wednesday's walk-through.
Andy Dalton will be taking first-team reps during practice as the Panthers prepare for the Seattle Seahawks in Seattle in a game that will air in the late window on CBS.
If Dalton gets the nod come Sunday, Panthers head coach Frank Reich said he feels confident in the veteran's abilities.
“If Andy’s the starter, we got a lot of confidence,” he said. “This is why you bring someone like Andy in. Our goal is to put our team in a position to win championships. And even despite a tough start—that’s still our vision, that’s still our goal, that’s what we’re working towards."
As the week continues, Young's ankle injury is something worth monitoring, as with the rest of the injuries on the Panthers roster.
