Arik Armstead was not on the field for practice for the second successive day ahead of the San Francisco 49ers' massive Week 13 NFC Championship Game rematch with the Philadelphia Eagles.

But the defensive tackle made it clear the Niners should not be worried about the foot injury that kept him out of both Wednesday and Thursday's sessions.

"I'll be out there," Armstead said when asked about his availability for a game that could go a long way to deciding the number one seed in the NFC. The 10-1 Eagles hold a two-game lead over the 8-3 Niners in that battle.

The disruption Armstead and his fellow starter defensive tackle Javon Hargrave, who will be going against the team he left to join the 49ers in free agency this offseason, can create will likely be critical to San Francisco's hopes of vindicating its status as the favorite to prevail on the road in a mouthwatering clash.

Through 11 games, Armstead has five sacks and 13 quarterback hits. His 36 pressures are 13th among interior defensive linemen, according to Pro Football Focus. Twenty eight of those pressures have come on true pass sets, putting him tied ninth alongside Hargrave, former teammate DeForest Buckner and Zach Sieler of the Miami Dolphins.

Armstead is seventh in PFF pass rush grade, four spots behind Hargrave, who has 37 pressures overall to go with six sacks and 12 quarterback hits, their partnership reviving what was a supremely underwhelming interior pass rush last year.

With Defensive Player of the Year Nick Bosa second in the NFL in pressures with 66 and Chase Young also excelling off the edge since his arrival at the trade deadline, the 49ers have a front that can cause huge problems for Philadelphia's vaunted offensive line.

The Eagles have made a habit of finding different ways to win games during another hugely impressive season, however, Armstead clearly believes the 49ers are a team to which Philadelphia may struggle to find an answer.

"I might not have been able to say this all the way in the past, but with this team we have, if we focus on ourselves and we're at our best, I think we can beat anyone, for sure," he added.

"And so, at the end of the day, it's about us and how we approach the game, how are we being disciplined, how are we executing, and if we do that at a high level and play with great effort, I think we can beat anybody."
