The Steelers lost a plethora of starters in an embarrassing loss to the Cardinals on Sunday.

To make matters worse, the team is on a short week, with a matchup on TNF against the Patriots on deck.

And following the latest news, we know Kenny Pickett will be out for a while. Here is what Coach Tomlin had to add about him and others on Monday:

Steelers Week 14 Injury Update

  • Kenny Pickett: Pickett left the game after turning his ankle when extending for the goalline late in the first half. The severity was thought to be serious soon after, and that was confirmed following his surgery on Monday. Luckily, Pickett is not expected to go on the injured reserve, meaning he should be back within four weeks. Coach T added to his status on Monday, saying: "Kenny has a high ankle sprain and had surgery to repair it this morning, he is certainly out this week and we'll have more on him in the future."
  • Minkah Fitzpatrick: Minkah reportedly broke his hand during the contest, wrapped it up, and went back out there. He told reporters after the game that he would be good to go for Thursday. Coach Tomlin had nothing to add signaling Minkah should be good to go.
  • T.J. Watt: Watt seemed to have suffered multiple injuries on Sunday, including one on a play where he called out officials for not throwing a flag. He also said he was fine and would play on Thursday. Coach Tomlin didn't add anything meaning Watt should be full go for Thursday.
  • Isaac Seumalo: One of Pittsburgh's best offensive linemen, seeing Seumalo miss the second half of Sunday's game was concerning. Little was known about the severity of the shoulder injury until Coach Tomlin told reporters on Monday that: "Isaac can be described as questionable with a shoulder."
  • Elandon Roberts: The absolute last position Pittsburgh could afford to lose players at, Roberts was the last starting linebacker the team had, relegating them to the use of fourth-string practice squad players. As for his availability on Thursday, Coach Tomlin said: "Roberts can be definitively be described as questionable."
