Cleveland Browns wide receiver Amari Cooper suffered a concussion in the 36-19 loss to the Los Angeles Rams Sunday.
The injury is the latest blow to an already depleted team suffering key injuries at nearly every position group.
But if Cooper isn't ready to go in Week 14, the Browns have an answer in Elijah Moore, who was a formidable top option in Cooper's absence.
Moore tallied the best game of his season with Cooper sidelined. He finished the game with 12 targets — which led the team. He also had four catches for 83 yards. Moore's longest reception of the day was for 42 yards.
Though his efforts came in a loss, Moore was a bright spot for what was a ho-hum offensive showing for the Browns.
Moore's ability as a playmaker and pass catcher stood out to Browns quarterback Joe Flacco after the game.

"Elijah has a lot of talent, especially when he can kind of get involved early," Flacco said. "He shows a lot of juice throughout the game."
If Cooper can't play against the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Browns pass-catching game could be in fine hands with Moore getting more of the looks Cooper typically receives.
“Yeah, that’s what it is, step up," Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said. "Some guys when you lose a player, it opens up opportunities for other guys. Ced got some opportunities, obviously, Elijah slid into some of Amari’s role and that’s why it’s really important for all of our players to be ready to step into any role. Sometimes you’re playing out of position, so to speak. So those guys have to be ready to roll.”
Moore is more than ready.
Browns must figure out how to win on the road to be taken seriously in AFC
When the Cleveland Browns lost to the LA Rams, it may have been with a different quarterback, but it still was a familiar result.
