The Kansas City Chiefs (8-4) have a pivotal AFC matchup with the Buffalo Bills (6-6) on Sunday afternoon for Week 14 of the 2023 NFL season.

Buffalo is coming off a bye week, while Kansas City is coming off of a disappointing road loss to the Green Bay Packers. The Chiefs need to keep winning if they're to reclaim the No. 1 seed in the AFC conference and secure the only first-round bye week for an AFC team in the playoffs.

According to the folks at DraftKings Sportsbook, the Chiefs are 2-point favorites over the Bills in Week 14. The over/under point total is 48 points. The Kansas City moneyline is currently listed at -130, giving the Chiefs a 56.52% implied win probability.

The Chiefs' offense needs to get it together if they want to win

The biggest issue plaguing the Chiefs this season has been inconsistency on the offensive side of the ball. The margin for error is the slightest it has ever been during the Patrick Mahomes era. A dropped pass or penalty can derail an entire drive for the offense, and even though they mostly played well in Week 13, when the defense made stops and gave them a chance to go out and win it, they couldn't execute.

Buffalo is right in the middle of the pack in terms of NFL defensive play. They average 319.9 yards allowed per game and have allowed 25 total touchdowns on the season. They're also going to be highly motivated heading into this matchup, as they're playing for their playoff lives against the Chiefs in Arrowhead Stadium.

It might simply come down to who wants it more, the Chiefs' offense or the Bills' defense?
