The Miami Dolphins were already one of the scariest teams in the NFL during the first half of the season. The best offense in the league paired well with a defense that was able to show up when it mattered.

That was all before Jalen Ramsey returned.

With Ramsey back on the field and playing at the top of his abilities, the Dolphins have a claim to the best defensive player in the league and the best overall defense. The rest of the league is keeping watch.

Ramsey has only been on the field for three games this year after returning. That has not slowed him down in the slightest. The star DB has accounted for three interceptions, three passes defended, and has allowed a mere 31.3% completion rating against.

That sure sounds like the best defensive player in the league.

A player like this-a player that is able to get to the ball, make plays, and create turnovers, is a game-changer in the NFL, and it only makes a team like the Dolphins all the more scary.

While the Chiefs game was a bit of a fluke, Miami's offense is one of the most capable and dangerous in the league when it all comes together, and that pairs perfectly with a defense that has only given up 51 points over the past three games.

And, for what it is worth, that last game was pretty big for Ramsey. He was a one-man wrecking ball against a struggling Raiders team with an interception, a pass defended, and held his opposition to two catches on ten targets.

A few more games like that mixed with a more healthy season would have Ramsey fully in the DPOY race.

So, for those keeping count, not only do the Dolphins have the best non-quarterback player in the league in Tyreek Hill, but they also currently have one of the best defensive players in the league in Ramsey.

This team is scary. Miami is sure to be ready for the playoffs when it finally comes time.
