With the rumors of Bill Belichick's time in New England possibly ending after the 2023 season, everyone has begun to speculate who will take over.

And one name that has been thrown around quite a bit is Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel.

However, one NFL Insider has revealed what she has heard about the possibility of the Titans trading Vrabel to the Patriots.

"It’s not happening," The Athletic's Dianna Russini wrote. "Based on multiple conversations with high-ranking Titans officials, the franchise strongly and collectively believes it has the right coach for long-term success."

Russini previously reported that she had talked to some people that believe Belichick and the Patriots could agree on a mutual parting of ways after the season. So that left the question of who would be next in line.

Belichick signed a contract extension during the offseason for at least this year and next year. Because of that, there is much talk about a possible trade at the end of the season.

While the Patriots have clearly struggled this season, there is no arguing that Belichick is one of the greatest coaches of all time. However, at 2-8, fans need someone to blame and that person is obviously Belichick.

This will continue to be one of the biggest storylines as the season continues, but it's safe to say that you can cross Vrabel off the list of potential replacements for Belichick.
