The NFL thinks something sketchy may be going on in Pittsburgh.

T.J. Watt has already been cleared and will play against the Colts, but the league isn't done looking into signs of negligence from the Steelers and their handling of Watt's symptoms against the Patriots.

Well, Watt knew what was coming during media availability on Thursday, and he wasn't falling for it:

"I got hit, went into the tent and got cleared,” Watt told reporters on Thursday. “Then, I came in the next day and had stuff going on. So, you guys saw with the protocol, yesterday, got cleared from protocol. Today, I feel great…

"…As far as the visor, I’m not really going to get into specifics. I’ve worn a visor pre-game. I’ve worn a visor in practice. It’s not something that’s new for me, so I’ll leave it at that.”

There was some concern that Watt suffered a concussion after the first play from scrimmage last Thursday, seeing as he looked a little unstable, but also changed his visor to one with a dark tint.

Players typically do that when the lights or sun are bothering them, seeing as the visor works as a pair of sunglasses.

But in this case, Watt didn't have the visor prior to the hit, leading many to hypothesize that the bright stadium lights were bothering Watt, an obvious sign of concussion-like symptoms.

So we'll see what comes of the investigation. Watt was guarded in his response as he should have been, but it does make you wonder if anything funny was going on, despite Watt's quick clearance from the concussion protocol.
