The Las Vegas Raiders are in dire need of some help on the defensive side of the ball now more than they were before. With the release of Marcus Peters and several of the defensive backs being banged up or, in Jack Jones' case, not into the system just yet, they need help in that area.

The Raiders also need help in that area because they are about to go against the best receiver in the game, Justin Jefferson, who is slated to return in Week 14 with Josh Dobbs as his quarterback.

So, as Antonio Pierce mentioned in his Wednesday press conference before practice, the Raiders will be activating cornerback Brandon Facyson off of IR, but that doesn't mean he will play on Sunday.

Pierce said they will see how he does in practice Wednesday.

The Raiders will surely get a boost soon enough. Facyson was signed back to the Raiders this offseason but was dealt an injury in the offseason. He played with the Raiders in 2021, where he had 13 pass deflections in 12 games.
