Dre Greenlaw has been issued with a fine from the San Francisco 49ers' Week 13 win over the Philadelphia Eagles, though not for his altercation with 'Big Dom'.
Instead, Greenlaw has been fined for the flag that sparked the fracas with Eagles security chief Dom DiSandro.
Greenlaw was penalized in the third quarter for slamming receiver DeVonta Smith to the turf after his forward progress had been stopped. He was then ejected after taking a swing at DiSandro, who was earlier on Saturday barred from the sideline for the Eagles' Week 14 game with the Dallas Cowboys for shoving the 49ers linebacker.
For his foul on Smith, Greenlaw has been fined $10,927.
Last season, Greenlaw was fined twice across the regular season and postseason. He was fined $10,609 for a helmet-to-helmet hit on Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert and was then slapped with the same fine for a late hit on Ezekiel Elliott during the 49ers' Divisional Round win over the Cowboys.
This week, Greenlaw acknowledged he often walks a fine line but insisted he is not a dirty player.
"I ain’t no dirty player,” Greenlaw said. "I play by the rules. I mean, just because you tackle a little physical doesn’t make you a dirty player.
"I love it when I see a player that’s just playing full of emotion and is ready to go out there and smack everything. That’s going to turn me up, too. I don’t think it’s being dirty."
