San Francisco improved to 9-3 last week by crushing the Philadelphia Eagles 42-19 in a rematch of last season's NFC Championship Game.
That dominant performance followed a 31-13 win over the Seahawks on Thanksgiving in Week 12. If the 49ers repeat that display and the Minnesota Vikings lose to the Las Vegas Raiders, San Francisco's place in the postseason will be confirmed.

Can the 49ers avoid a letdown?
The 49ers will be on an emotional high following their blowout win in Philadelphia, which pulled them within a game of the Eagles in the race for the one seed in the NFC.
What San Francisco must avoid is an error-strewn letdown that allows the Seahawks to pull off an upset and undo all of the 49ers' good work against their main NFC rivals. Sweep Seattle, and the Niners will be top of the conference if the Dallas Cowboys beat the Eagles on Sunday Night Football.
Which Seahawks quarterback will play?
Part of the reason why the 49ers are so heavily favored is because it is far from clear which Seahawks quarterback they will be facing.
Starter Geno Smith suffered a groin injury in practice and is considered a game-time decision. If Smith cannot go, then backup Drew Lock will get his first start as a Seahawk.
The 49ers must avoid complacency regardless. However, against an extremely banged-up Smith or a backup in Lock who struggled significantly in his time on the field against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 11, the San Francisco defense is in a very favorable spot.
3 Players to watch
- WR Deebo Samuel: The ultra-versatile wide receiver is on a tear, having tormented the Seahawks in tandem with Christian McCaffrey on Thanksgiving before scoring three touchdowns against the Eagles. With the Seahawks banged up at linebacker, it could be another hugely profitable day for Samuel.
- G Jon Feliciano: The 49ers are poised to be without starting right guard Spencer Burford for the second time in three weeks with a knee injury. Feliciano stepped in against Seattle in Week 12 and the veteran is set to do so again. He's been superb in the three games he's played this season and will need to maintain that standard to prevent the Seahawks getting any level of pressure that could be an equalizer in the game.
- DT Javon Kinlaw: With Arik Armstead out because of knee and foot injuries, 2020 first-round pick Kinlaw is set to start after recording two sacks in the win over the Eagles. Healthy and playing consistent football, the 49ers need him to continue to excel and provide an interior rush next to Javon Hargrave and make sure that the Seahawks quarterback is uncomfortable throughout.
