The Minnesota Vikings suffered a rough loss on Monday Night Football. The Vikings were going for the season sweep of the Bears, but were not able to come away with a win.

Joshua Dobbs' magic seemed to disappear, but the defense played well enough to get a win. Ultimately, the Vikings weren't able to eclipse the 12 points scored by the Bears.

Now, let's take a look at what was good, what was bad, and what was downright ugly from the performance.

The Good: The defense was fantastic

The defense played fantastic against the Bears. Justin Fields was held to just 217 passing yards and didn’t find the end zone. The only scoring the Bears did came off of the leg of Cairo Santos.

The unit also collected 3 sacks and 7 QB hits. Justin Fields also lost 2 fumbles, but the Vikings still weren't able to capitalize. Ultimately, this defense played well enough to get a win. It's a shame that the offense couldn't pick them up.

The Bad: Performance of Joshua Dobbs

Joshua Dobbs came crashing back to earth on Monday. The QB completed 22/32 passes for 185 yards with 1 TD and 4 INTs. This is simply not good enough to win games in the NFL.

Could the Vikings make a move at QB over the bye week? It's possible. We all knew Dobbs would regress to the mean at some point, but against the Bears was probably not the game we thought it would happen.

Turnovers have wrecked several games for the Vikings this year. Which leads me to The Ugly…

The Ugly: Turnovers

The Vikings committed four turnovers on MNF, but they could’ve had even more. KJ Osborn and Alexander Mattison both fumbled but were able to recover. Fumbles have been an issue all year, and it shouldn;t make fans feel any better that the fumbles were recovered this time.

While the Vikings are firmly in the NFC playoff race, turnovers could change that quickly. This isn't all on Dobbs either- Kirk Cousins had several turnovers before his injury as well.
