Last week, it was Dre Greenlaw, this week it was Deommodore Lenoir.
The San Francisco 49ers had a defensive player ejected for the second successive week, with Lenoir ejected alongside DK Metcalf after a huge scuffle in their 28-16 win over the Seattle Seahawks.
It was an incident sparked by Metcalf slamming Fred Warner to the turf after the linebacker had picked off Drew Lock and lateraled the ball to Greenlaw.
Metcalf grabbed Warner's facemask with both hands at the conclusion of the play, with Lenoir among the 49ers who came in and angrily shoved the wideout in response.
The resulting melee took a long time to clear up, but once the officials sorted everything out it was Metcalf and Lenoir who saw their games come to an early end, though neither was required again as the 49er offense gained two first downs to close out the victory and complete a season sweep of Seattle.
San Francisco improved to 10-3 with the victory, while the Seahawks drop to 6-7 in another hit to their playoff hopes, with that frustration likely fueling Metcalf's actions in the heat of the moment.
Greenlaw was fined just shy of $11,000 last week for a personal foul on DeVonta Smith in the 49ers' Week 13 win over the Philadelphia Eagles, though he was not fined for his subsequent sideline altercation with the Eagles' security chief that saw both kicked out.
Lenoir can almost certainly expect a notice from the league office, but it's unlikely he will care too much.
