The end of the Buffalo Bills game was nothing short of exciting. And there was one controversial call that had a large impact on the final outcome.

It even included something that has never been seen before: a Patrick Mahomes meltdown.

All of this was caused after the officials called back an impressive play by the Chiefs that would have resulted in a game-winning touchdown. Instead, they said that receiver Kadarius Toney was offsides.

The Chiefs final three attempts were unsuccessful and they were then forced to turned the ball over on downs. And Mahomes' meltdown happened just after.

The Chiefs quarterback did not hold back, making his opinion on the offsides call known.

Mahomes even had to be held back by his teammates at one point.

And you can't forget that he also threw his helmet on the ground.

Following the game, Chiefs head coach Andy Reid was the first to speak on the controversial call. And he agreed with his quarterback.

"Usually I get a warning before something like that happens," Reid said. "It's a bit embarrassing in the National Football League for that to take place. … I’ve been in the league for a long time. Haven’t had one like that.”

Mahomes did not simmer down before heading to the podium.

"Another game, we're talking about the refs. It's not what we want for the NFL or for football." Mahomes said.

He reportedly also asked the officials for an explanation on the call, but wasn't given one.

The Chiefs are normally a team that are in control, not known to lose their cool. However, this was completely different.

And to see Mahomes act that way, combined with Reid's answer to the question has got to feel good for Bills Mafia.

In a make-or-break game, the Bills came away with a hard fought victory and nobody can take that away. Not Mahomes, Reid, or anybody.
