Philadelphia Phillies first baseman Bryce Harper opened Week 14's Sunday Night Football matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles with a special introduction video.

Harper, who grew up a Dallas fan and then moved to Philly, knows a thing or two about this NFC East rivalry from both sides of the tracks.

"When I was a kid, I grew up mesmerized by the blue star on the silver helmet, all the glory and tradition of America's Team," Harper said. "I was a Cowboys fan."

That was before he moved to the City of Brotherly Love.

"And then, I moved to Philly, it was kind of a work thing," Harper said. "If you know my city you know what the Eagles mean to us. They are part of the Philly fabric, Philly pride, and the Philly way."

Harper didn't directly come out and say who his NFL team is now, however, he made it relatively clear that the Eagles have become a huge part of him.

“So I know from being on both sides of this rivalry how important this game tonight is to these teams, all the history, all the memories,” Harper said. “Believe me, as an athlete, when you become part of that you get consumed by it. So even if they weren’t two of the best teams in football, when these two teams get together, it just matters more.”

Harper wouldn't say it… so, we'll say it for him: "Go Birds."
