San Francisco 49ers defensive tackle Javon Hargrave was a part of the Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl LVII team last year and he may be en route to another Super Bowl appearance after the Niners locked in the No. 1 seed in the NFC playoffs.

As for the Eagles, they're sitting at the No. 5 seed following a surprising late-season collapse.

Hargrave hopped on Arik Armstead's "Third and Long" podcast where he may have leaked the reasoning behind the Eagles' downfall, revealing that Nick Sirianni's practices are weak compared to Kyle Shanahan's.

"[Practices with the 49ers] are very more demanding," Hargrave said, using an NBA analogy to compare the two teams. "I think it's more so like how people call the Golden State [Warriors] coaching and Miami Heat. Over here [49ers] it's the Miami Heat; over there is Golden State because it's more chill, more relaxed, you know, you're chilling.

"Over here? Nah, it's work. I feel like [49ers coach] Kyle [Shanahan] is like [Heat president] Pat Riley. You know what you're getting over here. Everyone can't make it over here, for sure."

Hargrave even went as far as to compare Niners' practices to "war."

"When I first got here, I was looking at this kind of crazy," Hargrave said. "The stuff we [were] doing, like, 'I can't believe y'all doing all this right now. … A war every day."

It looks like the extra hard work paid off for Hargrave and San Francisco who finished the 2023 regular season with a 12-5 record and received a nice bye-week before having to return to action in Round 2 of the NFL playoffs.

The Eagles, on the other hand, lost control of the top seed and finished with an 11-6 record after starting the year 10-1. Now, they'll prepare to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers next Monday night.

And hopefully, Sirianni will run practice a little bit harder this week knowing that he's been called out and that his job could be on the line if he doesn't beat Tampa Bay.
